This photo taken on 2005 Jan 6th is the sum of 250sec + 460 sec exposures with an 85mm lens @f2.3. It shows the comet and its ~7.5 degree gas tail near the Pleiades star cluster in Taurus.

This photo taken on 2004 Dec 29th shows the gas tail to the lower left and the dust tail to upper right
North is to the left (10 degrees below horizontal) and the image size is 6 X 4.7 degrees. The gas tail extends faintly to the edge of the frame at 3.5 degrees and the dust tail is 1.8 degrees long in this image.
